OK, usually I don't come on the forum to talk about myself, but what the hey, why not? I use a RIC bass on every track of my new record. (In fact have used ONLY RIC basses since 1989.) And I am a recording artist.

Maybe it's in the wording! In this case, you are just using your Rick Artist sighting abilities to inform us of another artist that uses Rickenbackers. As an aside, you also happen to be the one that qualifies it!!!

Didn't the Dead do something with eyeball art as well?

The Residents. Yeah, I think the Dead did have some sort of eyeball graphic at one point... but whoever came up with the 'marching teddy bears' Dead logo should be shot, IMO... I think I remember reading that Garcia himself hated most of the Dead imagary, too...but if it sells t-shirts, what the hey..
