A veritable who's who! Although there are too many Strats. Only one set of humbuckers on the whole stage!

Definitely too many Strats, but it is a SRV tribute after all!

Yeah, to me "blues on a Strat" is a contradiction in terms.

Sorry.

About a zillion jillion blues guitar players would disagree on that one, Mark!

I like Gibsons for blues............ All of 'em!

Yeah... I can think of an entire "Page" Of "Gear" related talk who would disagree on "The" subject of Strats not being for blues...

It seems like if it isn't a Strat or tele playing the blues, they don't really feel like listening to it.

I've posted this link before, but I want to make a point. Check out Johnny Winter on this butt ugly hunk of wood. I doubt if the song would have as much impact with another model or brand. Please excuse those silly looking fenders, too.

Butt Ugly hunk of wood? That one may be a bit beat up, but for the blues, those Gibson mini-humbuckers are often overlooked, but man are they sweet. Firebirds are great looking guitars in my book. They don't follow the mold of cookie cutter rules on what a guitar shape should constitute, while remaining classy looking (Note, Firebird VII)

{:^) I figured I'd get someone fired up about that comment! It is the humbuckers that make it. That was my point. I'd hate to have to wear that thing, but Johnny makes it work!

Why does B.B. King always get to sit down?

Weird - I have reoccuring nightmares that look and sound remarkably like this.

B.B. King sits down... because he's OLD!

And probably also his medical condition.
