I'm a faithfully married man, Jerry. Really now, let's try to keep it clean on this thread.

Hmmmmm.... I think Sheena and I are the only ones!

Thanks, Mark! Image

Normally we like to go fishing on Mother's Day (after all it's Minnesota's fishing season Opener--for those not from Minnesota, that is a very widely celebrated event that is practically a state holiday)..... Unfortunately I've come down with a nasty cold, so I think I'll be staying home tomorrow.

Happy Mother's Day to you too, Melibee!! As an expectant mother 38 weeks along right now, my wife's mother's day was a bit subdued - we fought off regular contractions four minutes apart last night for four hours - until she told me she had not drunk any water for the last 24 hours Image Four glasses and a few Tylenol later, they let up Image

Just a reminder to you all of how hard it is to become a mother, how much we owe mothers everywhere our collective thanks (hey, look folks, who among us ever made it into the world without the pain, sacrifice, and love of at least one?) and appreciation for everything that they have done for all of us Image Image

THANK YOU, to all mothers. How much cooler is it too that some of those mothers are Rickenbacker players!! Way cool, that's what Image Image Image

Anxiously awaiting a fifth child, more news on Melibee's new dream hose, AND more DCM news,

Elys Rand Image

PS, Sheena, you get to celebrate it twice, yes? Then you are doubly fortunate!! Happy Second Mother's Day to you Image

We don't celebrate Mother's day here today, Elys, but thank you. And best wishes to expecting mom and dad!

Well happy mothers day anyway Sheena and to you too Melissa. Melissa I thought you were buying a dream house? A dream hose? LOL

Thanks Mark, Elys et al for reminding us just how wonderful mothers are. It is generally the mothers of this world that shape the destiny of their children and most of us owe our respective mothers a debt of gratitude.

This day is always a bit of a sad day for me since my mother is in a better place.

Thanks again, everyone....

And congratulations and great expectations to you, Elys, and Mrs. Elys! Image You'll have to post a picture of your new baby after he or she arrives, with some of your other new "babies!"

BTW, we are still awaiting news from our DCM dealer; should be any day now!

As far as the dream house goes, we need to sell our current house before we can buy that one--let's hope for a serious buyer before our closing date of July 1, or our plans may have to be modified somewhat.... Anyone here interested in a nice big house with beautiful views of Lake Superior in a lovely little tourist town? Image Truly, we have put so much work and TLC into this place that it WOULD be our dream house if it were in Duluth--let's hope it's somebody's dream, and that they find it soon!
