I'm sitting here at my desk, having a cup of coffee (Ric mug of course), surfing the net, and listening to the XM radio. I look up across the room and notice the my 360/12 CW was lit up with like a sign from above. I wonder if it was an omen or something.

You'd better be writing a hit song right now, Richard

Hi Richard,
Can I ask you how you like that Rick acoustic that's in the picture? I always wondered about how they sound and how they play.

Charlie, in the past month, I've probably played the 730S about 90% of the time as I've been working up some classic country music (think Hank Sr., Lefty Frizzell, Johnny Horton, etc).
Compared to the J-45RW, it's just a tad brighter, but with more oomph. A friend says it sounds like a Taylor dreadnought, but I haven't been around enough Taylors to agree or disagree with his comment.
I just know it's the best guitar that I've ever held my hands, bar none.

Wow.
That's a pretty big compliment - the problem is, I've never seen the Rick acoustics in any stores anywhere so I've never actually played one. Thanks for your insight - someday I need to get my hands on one of these.

While you're at it, try playing "House of the Rising Sun" on your CW. It's one of those songs that sounds really good on a Rickenbacker twelve.

Todd, I also found that to be true - to my surprise!
