No it's not and he doesn't suggest that it is either.

Yes, this is nuts. No, this is not a CS. Must be a refin, as I do not recall this color being done by Ric for anything else than a CS. Or maybe it is a white one played in a cigar room

It's an "S" if it were a CS it'd have a Horseshoe instead of the normal cover.

That's why it's nuts $2400 for an S.

...With a cover mounted on top of the bezel, so you can drive a train through it at will...

Oh I dont know,,, what does your everyday run of mill "S" bring?

Seems to be in nice shape for a 24 year old bass. Dont see to many white ones.

Think of it as a budget CS.

Now that the auction has ended early, it is apparent that "bidder 6" actually bid $3,700. Bidder 6's profile also perfectly matches bidder 7's(who bid the $2400 in question) - Same bidding history, same time on eBay, same categories etc, and the obvious outrageous price...

Shill bidding perhaps?

The highest apparently genuine bid was only $800.

And why is eBay purposely making it harder for us to detect this?

Yeah, that "bidder 1", "bidder 2" nonsense is annoying. It also makes it harder to know if a fellow forumite is bidding.
