That would make a Great signature model or "inspired by" model because it offers enough different features to be unique.
imagine... it's green, 24 frets, binding both sides, maybe full width inlays.
there'd probably be a market!

21 frets.

Possible that its Albert Molinaro's guitar or Mitch Easter's. Either way, its rare.

I've trained myself to miss those.

That bottle opener of yours is much uglier, IMO.

Hey, it was a gift! BTW, if thats all I can find to open a bottle of beer, you can believe I'll be happy to use it, lol.

I wonder if Paul has a wall at home that looks like this:

I'd be afraid of radiation.

I have that picture in my collection, and have a couple of comments...the resolution is terrible, and the color is really bad. Antigua is a good deal more subtle and less pigeon-s**t green than that classic photo.
Antigua is not for every guitar, either...those Coronados look worst, whereas on a Jazz Bass, Jag, Strat or Mustang it merely looks awful. BTW I love my Antigua Jag...so ugly it's cool.

A 'no' vote for Antigua as COY here.

No argument from me on that! It is a "period" color whose time, frankly, is long gone.

Funny thing is, if Antigua was an official RIC finish, I'd be all over it.

It's that RIC halo effect...even works like Zymol on pigeon s**t...

Full disclosure: a lot of what repels me about that finish also fascinates me. If I had a guitar of that finish in good shape, I think I would find it riveting in some way. I also don't think that it was any less kind to the Coronado than any other shape.
I'd still be concerned about the isotope PP251 Pidgepoopium that is used in that finish.
Oh, and I have some crazy faith that our pals at Rickenbacker can do better than that for the next COY.

The simpler a guitar's design is, the better it looks in ****-Tigua.
The Coronados, with their binding, cutaways, and "F"-holes cluttering up the top, suffer the most from all that shading, whereas models like the Mustang and Jazz Bass, with more open space between the edges of shading, seem to fare best.
I have NEVER seen a Jazzmaster in this finish. I wonder if any were ever made?
