There was a lengthy thread a few weeks ago about the words to this tune. Do a search on it and you should find it.

I think if you google the tune youll find it is posted at various tab sites..most include the basic D sus2-sus4 riff (tune your low E string to D)and a decent take on the break..

Hope this helps

Oh what will you give me?
Say the sad bells of Rhymney
Is there hope for the future?
Say the brown bells of Merthyr
Who made the mine owner?
Say the black bells of Rhondda
And who killed the miner?
Say the grim bells of Blaina

Put the vandals in court
Say the bells of Newport
All would be well if, if, if, if
Say the green bells of Cardiff
Why so worried sisters? why?
Sang the silver bells of Wye
And what will you give me?
Say the sad bells of Rhymney

They will plunder willy-nilly,
Cry the bells of Caerphilly.
They have fangs, they have teeth,
Shout the loud bells of Neathe.
Even God is uneasy,
Say the moist bells of Swansea.
And what will you give me
Say the sad bells of Rhymney

And don't forget the correct pronunciation of "Rhymney!"

Roger tells that story at every show.

Thanks folks. I apologize, I didn't look before I asked.
