Here's something I thought we might have a bit of fun with.

In 1960 The Shadows released Apache here in UK which went to number for 6 weeks and prompted 1000's of kids to get guitars and try and form groups like The Shadows, that changed when the Mop Tops came along.

In the US however for some, IMO, inexplicable reason Jorgen Ingmann a Danish guy had the hit version.


Here are three great clips I had never seen until today, one of the earliest vids of The Shadows doing Apache, Jorgen Ingmann vid and also Ventures.

Sheena it is simply which version in order of preference you like.

All versions date from same period so a far comparison.

Thanks for vote Brian based on the few votes I got Shadows was the favourite version followed by Ingmann and then Ventures.
