Here are a few photos of my brand new Amber Fireglo 4003 I picked up at Wade's in Milwaukee yesterday (Sat. 6/2). You'll see how much "ambering" is done by comparing the binding with the white plastic pickguard. Note also the very yellowed position markers.
As a comparison, the group shot shows the AFG between two standard Fireglos from '97: a 4001V63 and 4004L. Red's are notorious for their reproduction in digital form, so the fade on all of them is more gradual than in the photo. Enjoy!

I am buying a nice new house here in Denver ... So I will have some new backdrops for my Ric pictures ...
I think the best amber fireglo would be a 4004 ...

Actually, Richard, wet set fire only to the front yard. We have an all-Wisconsin native prairie garden for the entire front yard, and we burn it flat every other year or so in late April. This is my wife's hobby, and I help only with the burning.
