Exterior size of truss rod nut on a 620?

Guys,
I have a recently acquired used 620 which badly needs a set-up. However, I didn't get the adjustment tool with it, and none of my extensive colelction of truss rod keys and hex sockets fit the truss rod nuts. A 13mm socket is close, but slightly too big and slips when it should drive.

Does anyone know the socket size I need so I can save myself the 7900 Yen it would cost to ship the real deal tool down here?

Cheers - Steve Kellett

Steve, the Rickenbacker adjustment tool is a straight shaft long handled 1/4" hex socket.

Steve: Note also that you can do a fair bit of damage quite easily should you use a standard socket set. Some people have tightened too much or forced a socket that does not fit properly which has made a considerable mess. Dave 4004 has mentioned a "straight shaft long handled 1/4" hex socket" which is the tool of choice. My two cents.
