My 4003JG '97 has been yellowing the past year. Just this week I noticed the slight greenish tinge developing over the black and the binding is yellowing. Bummer. Great playing and sounding bass, but I'm definitely a fan of the bright new color. Oh well, what'ya gonna do?

Nothing yellows nicer than black. Not even Fireglo

. I just love the look of greenish black with cream binding and a few battle scars.

"Yellowing" or "greening" is an acquired taste. I remember being bothered by my Silver 4003 with the greenish tinge in the beginning. But I quite enjoy it now. Tough to beat the elements, in any event.

Bob, it is a '99 that I had Dale rework to look like a '68.
Scott, yes you do!
