Hey Roger. The guitar is pictured in Richard R. Smith's book,"Complete History of Rickenbacker Guitars". It's an early 1969 prototype solid body with Hi-Gain pickups. He also stated the guitar was thicker than standard Rickenbackere solid body guitars.
