Re Bungalow Bill; I read that they "sampled" the part off a Segovia record using a Mellotron. Then played it back by simply holding down a key when they used it for the song intro....can't remember where I read it, though..

Ed--I believe I read on "voxTalks" that they all 3 played the lead on "Bird". I think it's a 3 part harmony solo....Maybe someone can correct me if that's wrong......?

M - Interesting. I've played it before as a two parter. I never noticed a third line and it sounds good w/two. Can someone lend M & I a hand? I always thought I could hear Lennon's playing on this on the record and was dismayed to hear Macca may have played that part....

I know for a fact Harrison played on this, as in a Guitar Player "Beatles played right" they quoted to George saying "About all I can remember is playing some extraordinarily difficult part in the middle eight".
