Video interview - warning: Fender content... but he does mention the Ric!
Found the link on the FDP. He explains about his sound and gear and demonstrates the picking technique, great stuff.

That was a great interview! It was also posted in another thread where I first saw it. Will be seeing him in London October 9th at Wembley Arena.

Yeah, that's a really good interview. It's nice to see him just playing around like that.
Does anyone know if he's playing the 4001 or 4003 for the shows? I couldn't see whether there was a Badass bridge on the Rick in the video.

Did anybody notice the Jaguar Bass behind Geddy?

It's the old 4001, I noticed his big tuners. Then I noticed the badass.

nope it is the old black fender and there is also the red custum shop jazz bass behind him too ... or it could be a jaguar ...

The lower horn and pickguard which is peaking out from Geddy's left has that Jaguar rounded profile to it and a matching red headstock, which leads me to think it is a Jaguar Bass.

It is not the old black Jazz though in some sections of the video it looks like it. The light angle changes for some reason and the glare masks the red headstock.

3 basses in the video ... one he plays and one is the old black jazz and one is red ...

Right, the black Jazz Bass is to Geddy's right and the Jaguar Bass is to his left behind him.

That's what I thought it was too, a Jaguar Bass...The Jaco Bass was pretty neat too.

The bass he played was not the Jaco Bass, just a Jazz.
