Somebody over at the RIC forum clued me in on this. I called the store (International Vintage Guitars in New Orleans), and the bass is sold, but it is interesting to see the 4001C64S (sanded) model in glossy Fireglo. I know there are a few in Jetglo, but this is the first (and might be the only) one we'll see in Fireglo:

Wow, thats really cool. That would be worth picking up, just based on rarity alone.
