Hi:

I'm not very knowledgeable about Rickenbacker's policies. But, will we be able to order 360s and such with AMBER FIREGLO in the future? Does this color come back every three years or so?

Karl:

This was a Color of the Year, and has been discontinued. However, there are still dealers waiting for this color. If you check the shipping info on the RIC corporate site, you should see when a dealer has been shipped one of these. With luck, it won't be presold.

This is a long shot, however. So keep your eyes peeled for nice used ones--it may be the only way to score one, short term.

Looks like Chris at Pick of the Rocks still has one 360 AFG on order that hasn't been spoken for.

You could send your Rick to Paul and he would make it an AFG model.

I have noticed that my 1998 360/6 is turning yellow in the middle. Given enough time, most Fireglo Ricks will eventually take on an amber hue in the middle.

That's one sweet looking guitar at pmblues.
So which guitar do I have to sell to buy
that one. Maybe my Gretsch 6128TBEE Duo Jet
or my Steinberger GR4? I'm not selling my
350V63 Jetglow so please give me some help.

Karl,

Are you still interested in a 360 AFG? I think John at Old Boise Guitar just got one in last week and it is unaccounted for. Email me at [email protected] if you want more info.
