...you live in the South West, you should try to go and see CIRCA live on August 23rd at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, California. The band consists of Billy Sherwood, Alan White, Tony Kaye and Jimmy Haun, all Yes alums in one form or another.

You can get a preview of their upcoming CD on their myspace site:

Great timing for you early arriving So Cal confluence folks!

New developments have me and the wife attending the CIRCA show, so we hope to stop by confluence HQ on Friday...I'll bring down the 4004L MG 'cause I would love to show her off!

Now THAT should be an interesting show! Haun is quite a good studio musician himself. He is best known to Yes fans for his politically-sensitive stint, at Arista's and Steve Porcaro's request, to pretty much replace most of Steve Howe's tracks on Union for the final Arista CD, although Howe did most all the live stuff - of which mainly bootlegs-only exist.

Then he toured with Key together with the Chris Squire Experiment and Jimmy played in BOTH bands during the tour Image

Here is a shameless plug for my best friends band, AFTERLIFE out of Long Island, NY.

Rob Whelan, the bass player taught me many of the SQUIRE lines YEARS and YEARS ago.

They are a 70's Prog Tribute band that does YES, ELP, RUSH, and many more.

Check out the sound clips, check out the site and let me know what you think. Rob LOVES to get feedback from people like those on this forum!

Thanks!
