Ric-O-Sound on 600 series

I know that the Rickenbacker 620 and 620/12 have the Ric-o-Sound output option, and 360 and 360/12 being the "Deluxe" (or whatever you would call it) version of the 300 series has it, so why doesn't the 660 or 660/12 have this option?

I realize that this is probably a dumb question, but my sister's boyfriend asked me, and I didn't have an answer for him, other than "it's a vintage reissue, hence the toasters." He wants to buy a Ric, but wants the stereo, and really liked a 660 a friend's dad owns.

Thanks guys!

Like Bruce Hornsby sang, "that's just the way it is." But it's not too hard to re-wire. I did it to a 330/12.

The wiring harness is available on the RIC website or from a Rick dealer. A jackplate can be found. The only other thing is drilling a hole for the second jack to fit into.
