Hi, fellow Beatles' fans:
Does anyone know how to BEST play the "intro" and "outtro" to "Eight Days A Week?" Could anyone come up with a tab of it?
Thanks,
Karl

The 12-string part? Here are the chords, the timing you can pick out on your own.
e ---------------------------
B ---10------12------15-----
G ---11------13------16----
D ---12------14------17-----
The chords are D, E, G.

Let that high E-string ring out, too.

Y'know, I do that when I play it, Stuart, but I couldn't quite pick it out in the recording. It does add a little something when playing it though!

John, I use D E7 G for the chords of the verse.

Is there a hammer on/pull off on the B string for each chord? For the first chord hammer on to the 12th fret then off

I think it's accurate to let the D string ring out as open. Only play the B and G strings as shown above.

In "The Beatles Complete Scores" is shows it as tabbed above, with an open high E string. Interestingly, it shows the D chord in the verses as being played with the A string open as well, which I've never done while playing it. It also shows on the "Hold Me, Love Me, Hold Me, Love Me" pre-chorus bit to only fret the low E and A strings as the G chord and let the rest ring open. I'll have to run through it by the book tonight and hear how it sounds compared to how I normally do it.
