Really nice pictures with that auction. He also reveals the reserve.

I'm thinking between 3k and 3.5k, but I could be wrong. I think the initial 4k - 5k they got on shipment was kind of a fluke. They'll get there again, I'm sure, but I don't know how long it'll take.

The one in Canada is a scam.

The last two real ones have gone for $3300 and $3500 in the US in June, and one was purchased in the UK by Graham Griffiths for well down into the $2000s last month as well.

Ryan is correct, depending upon condition, $2700 to $3400 is the range now.

In the right light, DCM does look like jetglo.

FYI, I tried to contact the seller in Canada in two occasions, no response at all. Can be bizarre but I might be wrong too.

Elys - what makes you think the Canadian auction is a scam? I have my own concerns about that particular auction, but would like to hear what you are thinking.

Never mind Elys - I just read about it in the "For Sale" section. Just over a year ago I won an auction for a C64 at a very good price. Like the DCM auction, the seller was in London Ontario. As that's about two hours away from me, I had asked and received confirmation that I could pick up the bass in person if I won. Long story short, after a month of e-mails back and forth (which included a story about the bass coming from Calgary???), I received a e-mail that claimed the bass was damaged and they wouldn't be completing the transaction. I reported the seller to Ebay and they were subsequently delisted. I wonder if the DCM auction is by the same scammer?

It likely is, dishonest folks are lazy I guess! Image Glad you got the warning about this one in time, Steve, sorry that they strung you along so badly last year Image
