Here's my NAMM report:
Ronn approaches guitar booth, sees a nice bass.
Salesperson: "Pull that bass down and play it!"
Ronn: "Is it available lefty?"
Salsperson: "Nope, sorry"
Ronn: "Later"
Repeat ad nauseum.
Oh yeah, one extra special encounter.
At the Electro-Harmonix booth.
Ronn: "How much for a Bassballs?"
Salesperson: "Your "Artist" price is $45"
Ronn: "I'll take it"
Salesperson: "I won't be able to sell the display model till 2PM, it's the only one we have"
Ronn: OK, see ya in two hours"
20 minutes later I pass by the E/H booth and notice a space where the Bassballs was.
Ronn: "Umm...where the Bassballs?"
Salesperson: "Oh,,(giggles)..a friend of mine came by and bought it(giggles)"
Ronn: "Hmm..nice...."

Sounds like a good reason to boycott Electro-Harmonix!

Sorry, Ronn, didn't realize you were after the Nano - BAssballs has the same electronics in a foot pedal type enclosure, according to the EH website.
