I was fortunate enough to spend a little time with the 2 of them today. Certainly some of the nicest folks I've known. Barbara snapped a few pics of us that will probably be posted later.
Good times. Great conversation.
"I was surprised that your car wasn't all black as well." haha

Yes, it was great. Just wish we had more time. Perhaps in October I'll come up for the guitar show and be able to spend some time with the folks who will be attending.

Well, it was great to meet Sean and put a face and voice to the name, I didn't recognise him at first because he didn't have a black car

, we had a very entertaining conversation and put the world to rights (as
we did last year Howard).
Sean had invited us to a Deep Purple tribute bands concert but due to a clash of events we had already an event arranged as DC Olson, our host for the previous two nights, was asked at short notice to fill in on the bass for a local blues guitarist who was playing in San Marcos. It was a great night only hindered by the fact that I was the designated driver

. I have photos to post when I get home (Wednesday).
Richard, sorry but the furthest north we got this time was Austin.

Sorry to hear that Peter, someone has to be the responsible party!

I guess I should be glad for Peter that he didn't drive north from Austin in order to visit me in Houston. Otherwise, we'd probably be sending out search parties by now.

Hello to all, I have been a lurker for while... but now I'm here in my own right. Texas is fantastic and it was great to meet Sean in person. I know Graham

and I've met Alisha as well

, and I feel that I already know lots of forum members from the posts that I have read in the past.
