That's the headline that a local watering hole placed on their ad for next weekend. They're featuring a Beatles and a Byrds tribute band the same evening.

August 12th the park at the end of the street is featuring a Beatles tribute band on their stage - Shout, music of the Beatles. Should be a good time.
We just saw a local Celtic band and this weekend will be Blue Dahlia, who takes silent movies and puts original music to it.

Richard, are you in Houston? The
Fab 5, the
Mockingbyrds (my band), and
Strange Brew are playing a benefit for a local musician who recently had a stroke.

Thanks, Kent! It was Joe of the Fab 5 (are you posting today, Joe?) who recreated the famous fisheye lens look for that photo.

Stephen, I'll probably go there and listen for a while. Any idea when you're playing? BTW, I saw the ad in North of the Border.

I've seen the Fab 5 several times, and will certainly see them again. They're quite versatile; they can do whole sets of Beatles songs, or just about anything from the British Invasion, or anything from the 60s... heck, they can probably do just about anything! They always play to happy crowds. Terrific musicians all around, and fantastic showmen.

I'd see them for sure if they came to my neck of the woods (OR) but it appears that they mainly stay in Texas.
Their vocals are very good, especially "John".
Calling Ronn Roberts...Calling Ronn Roberts...
do you know these guys?
