Anyone catch the lengthy New Yorker magazine piece on Paul last month?

No real earth shattering revelations but it covered a lot of ground (formation of Beatles, relationship with John, etc.) and was a good read.

Here is an abstract:

What, is Ringo dead now, too? "Besides being the surviving member of The Beatles,..........". Seems like a mag such as the New Yorker would get their facts straight.

Yeah, I remember thinking that was very odd too when I read the article.

I think my brain translated that at the time as surviving original member or only survivor of the Lennon-McCartney songwriting team.
Obviously something got mixed up in either the writing or editing of the piece.

Good article and a nice insight into what Macca deals with whenever he goes out in public.
