Am I the only person who's found these yet, or are you all posting about them under a topic I'm not looking at?
Look to the menu on your left, under Utilities....

Thanks for noticing, David. This is quite a time consuming task.

I've enjoyed looking through my old posts, and reading posts like "I can't believe someone would pay $2250 for a 4001CS!"

Thanks Peter, a treasure of information there.
Just an example, many have been wondering about black trim in the future, and here's a quote from John Hall from mid-2005:
"No one bought or seemed to want the black trim when we had it. It certainly was an inventory nightmare (that still isn't completely over) and it's unlikely we'd bring it back anytime soon.
Checked binding is not only about 100 times more expensive for the material itself, there's much more work involved to the binding process. It requires an extra stairstep routing pass in the wood itself, two complete rounds of binding hand work, and decidely more skilled effort in the finish and scraping process."

Finally! An alternative to YouTube......
Seriously, thanks, Peter - I thought I was dreaming when I first saw the link, and couldn't find any posts about it.

Some of us have been crying for them for years, thanks Peter. At one time everything was here at one time, it became too unwieldy I guess and caused long browsing times. Was nice though, you could scroll down to the beginning of the forum. The See yourself playing your Ric bass or whatever it's called is still missing half it's length unless it too is now under the new archives.

It's interesting looking through some of the older archives, to see all the people who no longer post here (or at least haven't posted in a very long time). It's also interesting to note a whole different feel to the reading of some of the old threads.

Just one hour? I'm trying to book a weekend away from chores to look through the bass archives.

Ha! That might get you through half the bass archives, Paul.
