Stolen Ric in SF

Post by dougp »

Sadly, a vintage 4001 BG was stolen in San Francisco recently. Fortunately, it wasn't mine.

Details here:

(And please learn from this poor gentleman's mistake - don't EVER leave your treasured Rics in a parked car, ESPECIALLY one parked at the sketchiest corner in town!)
My basses are Rickenbackers. My synthesizers and recording gear are analog.

Hasn't this guy ever heard of a trunk?
Even if it was a station wagon or an SUV, the back seats could go down somewhat to sort of hide it.
I sure hope he finds it soon.

In that neighborhood (San Francisco's Tenderloin), I don't think that being out-of-sight in a trunk would even help much ...
