50-110 strings on a 4003?

Has anyone tried a heavier guage of strings on their 4003? I'd like a "tighter" feel to the strings and was looking to try something like a 50-110 set. Any implications regarding excessive bridge lift?

I use D'Addario EXL230 55-110. But I tune down to C, and use a hipshot bridge to get the intonation right, so tail lift is not a problem for me.

Wow! 110 low E???

I've used Fender 9050 ML's on my 4001; they are 50-65-85-100 I believe. And very high tension. The neck on the 4001 dealt with it but the action was high.

I am planning to use those on my Laredo soon...but 110??? Whoa.

I've used heavy gauge strings on my 4001 and 4003 basses, but that was to tune down.
