Bob,
Their website is a little hosed at the moment, so my wife and I took the pictures at the store last Thursday. If you would like some better pictures, I could ask my wife to take a couple more tomorrow.

Russ is a great guy and a good bass player. I haven't spoken to him in years though.

I purchased one from POTR a couple months ago and was amazed with the saturation and depth of finish. The gradient is very smooth and subtle.

Just wait 30 some odd years!
The real question is: How will the AFG look in 30 years?"

Like this one? The newer CV paints should not yellow nearly as fast as the old CV ones (unless you are a nasty nicotine drug addict, in which case all tarry bets are off

).
My darling, hot Susanna is only 37 short years young, and she has just the very slightest amber cast to her 21-frets and her oh-so-fair features so far

I think of that every time I see an AFG. Wouldn't stop me from getting one of these darker new ones if I was looking for a new 4003 though!
Elys, my 2004 4003MG (bought Feb. 2005) is already starting to yellow a bit - I leave it out almost all the time; just northern room light, no sunlight in the practice room.
