Pulled the trigger last night. The Fulltone will be here in a few days and can't wait. Been listening to the surf band Slacktone a lot lately. The guitar player uses a tape echo in front of his outboard reverb. Just enough...really makes that reverb wash hang in the air.

Congratulations, George. You showed great restraint in holding out as long as you did. That clip of Layla with the Fultone is really remarkable. Angelic! Are we allowed to use that word in surf circles?

Sure...it's not all reverb, 15" speakers and heavy strings..we got a sensitive side too ya know!

My own "angelic" '67 Dynacord Echocord, absolutely mint, ordered from Germany through a very nice Ebay seller, and shipped by him via DHL, was due here two weeks ago.

I told him NOT to use DHL, owing to their 100% record of failure over the last year and over 30 deliveries. He says there is no other way from Germany, so I agreed.

I repeat, with full echo, DHL ABSOLUTELY SUCKS. In the past two years, whenever a seller has shipped to me via DHL, the shipment has NEVER been on time; sometimes overnight shipments from the USA have arrived NINE days late.

As you can tell, I'm frustrated!

Thanks John...I'll agree with Paul on this one re: DSL. I shipped a huge lot of laser discs to a client in Oz using his DSL account. So...I start getting invoices for like $400 for shipping from DSL (no customer discount as they would give a client). After numerous phone calls etc, turns out DSL messed up transferring the fellows customer/billing number so came after me for payment..they suck..good luck Paul

George, while we are on the top of the echo sounds. I would be grateful for you comments on the differences of sound in surf groups here.
