Hey gang. I'll be in San Fran 8/23-8/25. If anyone's around (i.e. not in LA!!!) it would be cool to hang out if possible, maybe see a cool music shop?

Lessee, you'll wanna see Haight Ashbury music, Rocker Guitars in Da Mission, and eGuitars in San Rafael, 20 miles N of SF.

Drive up to Novato and visit Alembic, they are very laid back up there. While you are there pick out some wood for you custom bass or guitar you will no doubt order.

Yeah, they grow it out back with the weed and the Hobbits...

Not that there's anything wrong with that.....

Does anyone know if those places have convenient free parking? Or do I have no idea what I'm asking?

Also, is there anything else I should catch? I plan on tooling around Friday between 9am and 4pm. Maybe a good lunch place?

Lots of good little eateries on Polk around the Washington St. area, Jdog. There's a neat little place on the corner of Polk and Washington - only a block from Paul's workplace. And if you feel inclined there's a GC on Van Ness only a few blocks away. Not exactly city centre, though.......

I also found a great little bar on Market near the Virgin Megastore but that's another story........
