Neat! I've never seen one in that color, either.

Oh man, curse me for buying a new car and having no money!
That's only the 3rd color I've seen on a 2060. Fireglo, Jetglo, and now Midnight Blue.

Steve Wood has one in Turquoise, perhaps I can dig up a pic on his behalf...

I'm not much of a fan of the 2000 series basses, but the 2060 definitely has that classic Rickenbacker look with the body binding and pickguard. The one on Ebay looks very nice, although it looks like the maple fingerboard may have some discolouring, (mine is the same). I must post a question to Paul to see if there's a way to clean these types of fingerboards.

0000 greaseless steel wool does the job.

Steve, is there a matte-like finish on the fretboard?

Yes John, I think there is a very fine matte finish on the neck and fingerboard. It doesn't seem like an oil finish.

A rosewood fingerboard? :scratchin' head:

I recall Aitch really liking the looks of Steve's 2060 - maybe he'll go for this one!
