Hiya Goat!

Yes, it is on evilbay and I really am selling it this time. As many of you know I've agonized over this for a couple of years now. It's not a sad thing though Jared. It is a beauty indeed, but it is time for it to go to a new home.

Interested in trades?

Most likely no. I need a good chunk of change out of it, so it would have to be a trade plus cash. The worst I can say is no though - shoot me an e-mail!

Of course now this puts me in the position of trying to win the auction and then selling my jetglow one. The seagreen is the one I really wanted, and actually this bass is how I found these boards. Thanks Tim;-)

Gee I guess a '68 4001 isn't worth much these days.

Huh??? Did I miss something, Goat?

Kendall, I could possibly take the 68 off yours hands....

Tim, I think dedgoat was implying that yours will sell for more than his '68 is worth, so that even by trading a highly valued '68, it would still wind up being a cash-and-trade deal.

Gary,

That's what I was thinking too. I was slightly confused ( more so than I normally am) because I did not hear from him regarding any possible trade. I was wondering if I missed an e-mail from him or something.

Well Tim, it looks like the Sea Green V63 didn't make the reserve. Perhaps it lives to see another day in your possession?

Tim,
I had a 2002 FG V63 first week of the year, that I bought brand new a little over a year ago.

The Sea Green will be sticking around for another day, but not much longer. I will be shipping it off to its new home early next week. Great bass, yes, but there are out there in other finishes as Bob's post avove makes clear.

Oops - I meant above! BTW, it sold for a good price for everyone involved. Thanks for all the input on this one over the course of the last year or two.
