Thanks to the advice, wisdom and knowlage, of to dear friends of mine, Mr Cris Clayton (P.O.T.R.) and Mr Joey Vasco (Rickenbrother), who's opinions and know all when it comes to Rickenbackers I respect and trust to the max,while at Pick of the Ricks this morning to drop of my 07 jetglo 4003 that my daughter and future son in law bought me for my 48th B-day, haveing a toaster installed, the pick up cover removed, and haveing it set up now thanks to Mr Chris Clayton who now has Thomastik strings for guitar and bass, with those strings on her, so while I was there I went ahead on my to dear friends advice and ordered and put my deposit don on a 4004Cii fireglo, can wait till she comes, (hopefully sometime this century) LOL just kidding Mr Hall, anyway really looking forward to its arrival, which will complete the bass side of my ever growing arsenal, next Ric guitars, either a 330, 620, or 660. will see, any way take care my friends of the forum and as always , please, please, please, stay safe always.

Good decision my friend. I think you'll really enjoy the 4004Cii very much!

Hey Jeff my good friend how ya been, did you attend the so-cal? well I cant think after the 4004Cii arrives what other bass to add to my arsenal I have all the main ones I have always wanted 80 4001, 06 4003, 07 4003, and an 06 4001C64, this one I really never actually desired,but Im going on Joey ,and Chris Clayton's advice and I trust both of thier opinions greatly, Chris knows me very well he works on all my basses Rics and non Rics and know what I like and toneal qualities, so hows that Ric acoustic doing you bought at the M.A.R.F this year take good care my good friend and please, please, please, stay safe, look forward to seeing you at the 2008 M.A.R.F.

Angelo, you must have at least one '60s RIC bass in your collection!
I did not go to So Cal this year, too much else going on here in Cleveburg. But the 730/12L has been writing some great new music, with a little input from me!
Chris is a great guy, you are lucky to have POTR near you.

Thats good to hear Jeff, Glad the guitar is giveing satisfieing fulfillment, yea bummer I couldnt make it to the so-cal it would have been worth the trip just to actually meet Joey Vasco and hang out with him , and dont be so modest im sure your 730/12 got alot of input from you,Yea belive me im very fortunate to have Chris Clayton and Pick of the Ricks just a short drive away, its always a pleasure doning business with him and he has become a very good friend also, you take care Jeff and please stay safe, hope to see you at the a M.A.R.F. next spring or whenever they schedule it.
