I am involved in the auction of some phenomenal vintage guitars/basses on October 6th. Some of these are extremely rare custom colored guitars and of the best known condition.
The instruments are:

Is it the case that those guitars have been barely played in a smoke-free studio, however the owners just really haven't been playing them much lately?

If so, maybe I'd be interested.

Mark, conservatively the guitars are in excellent plus condition -- really some of the nicest conditioned examples of these that exist. The catalog will be very descriptive along with several photos of each. I have played all of them and do not remember them stinking of smoke. The consignor is a collector so I doubt they've been gigged or even played much.

Actually I was hoping they were relics, the real things just don't do anything for me.
