My Band's Song Up On Star 98.7 Website

The drummer of my band kind of jumped the gun and entered a rough mix of one the songs we've been recording on Star 98.7's website. This is pretty much tracks as they were recorded, no effects and no guitar solo.
Please give it a listen and let me know what you think.

I just gave it a listen. It has that current indie/pop/rock sound to it. I like it. Sounds like it would fit well into the mix of songs that you hear and see videos of in certain trendy clothing stores, as well as a radio station like Star 98.7. Your singer kind of sounds a bit like Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day in this song.

Did you use the 4003 Blue Boy on this recording?

Erik, for a 'rough mix' not bad. I agree with Joey, good pop sound there. Let us know when you have it polished up (effects and solo etc.), would love give another listen then. Good luck with the tune!

Thanks guys. Yes, it's my 4003 Blue Boy. 2 bass tracks, 1 is the line out of my BBE preamp, the other is my cabinet miced with a Sennheiser MD 421.
