OK, it's not exactly new but, I always wanted one. Hopefully we can bring it back to it's glory...

Wow, cool! I always thought the natural finish B.C. Rich's looked classy. Good luck with the restoration!

Very cool!! I've been thinking of building a Warmoth "Mockingbird" 8-string.

Cool bass, you should contact Neal Moser and have him refurbish it. This bass will be quite a looker once it's properly made over.

I had a USA mid-80's Mockingbird some time ago and just loved it. I sold it to help finance my divorce so it was worth letting go but someday I'll get another. Nice score and good luck with the restoration!

Thanks guys. If it plays well as is, IMO it's a score.

Already contacted Neal, and waiting for a response.

Marc don't worry if it takes a while for you to get a reply from Neal, he's a busy man. I contacted him on the built of my BC Rich-ish guitar "the Goblin" and it wasn't until four days later until I got a reply back. But don't worry Neal WILL reply.

Well, when I get the bass, my intention is to just forward it to him.

Came today. Since it is professionally packed so nicely, I'm not even gonna open the box. Just forward it straight to Neal.

Only problem is his address isn't listed on his website.
