Plastic tip on pickup selector switch

Some time back, when looking through guitar shops with Aitch, we came across a 360v64 that had a white plastic tip on the pickup selector switch.

This wasn't a Gibson or generic Gibson one, which as you know are quite a bit shorter. It was the same length as the original Ric black ones. Are these been available as a spare part from Ric or their outlets, or is this an item that may be sourced elsewhere?

I noticed there is a black plastic tip on the bay at the moment and the seller says that they may be made for Switchcraft by Daka-Ware of Chicago.

Any help on this would be appreciated. Image

These come in two lengths as far as I've seen, and in several colors, too. Ricks use the longer length, which of course are harder to find without buying the whole $25.00 switch. The short ones are available from parts houses.

Thanks Paul, I figured they were going to be difficult to get.

Nicolas, these are the black ones - I'm after a white one.

Any one else have any ideas please. Image

Not to jump into the thread here, but if someone has an old beaten black switchtip, I'll be happy to exchange etc, for it...

Good one Jason, Image don't worry if I can't track one down, a paint job, (not liquid paper though), might be in order! Image
