That's a good price for a superior example, but it's not that cheap either.

Should sell...

Wish I could afford it. I miss the ones I had.
I don't care what anyone says, I love these basses. Aesthetically and sonically beautiful.

What's up with the generic text? I think I've seen this text 100 times from the usual ebay hucksters:

"This bass is Near MINT and a Real Rare Find. This is a one owner instrument and a great bass!"

"The neck is great shape and plays fantastic! The truss rod works perfect and the neck is straight The frets have only minor wear and excellent."

"This bass is Superb! It is an extremely resonant and a well balanced bass. These are getting hard to find especially this clean!"

If you're gonna steal somebody else's description, or use the same one over and over, I think you should at least make an effort to have it be somewhat grammatically correct and/or specific to the instrument. (Truss ROD?!)

I'll bet the guy only accepts wire transfers to China as well!

Haven't we seen this bass before? I think I remember the discoloration above the bridge pickup.

Well rocknrollvintage.com had this bass at the Dallas show in April. I thought it was up for sale for $12,000 at the show? Perhaps it sold and the guy who bought it is now desperate to sell? Or maybe it was on commission and he's lowered the price? Who knows. I'm sure it was on Ebay as well back in April or May? The photos are from rocknrollvintage.com though. I'm with you Jeff.......I smell a rat!

Here's the Ebay listing. Photos are long gone, but the description sounds familiar?
