On the left near the back. Looks like he still owned one. Now that is cool. 8) That's a great site by the way.

Speaking of George, did you ever notice that some Gretsch Country Gents have an extra knob or switch? It seems like it would be exactly where you WOULDN'T want it to be because your arm would hit it all the time. Does anyone know what it was for? It appears that at least one of George's Gents did have it.

The original Harrison Gent had dial-up double string mutes, after this got smashed whilst touring it was replaced with a second later model. The replacement had a single flip-up mute.

Does anyone actually use the mutes?

I got my "Gent" from NCM a few weeks ago :)
Very interesting those mutes, they are like bike brakes- rubber sponge pads connected by levers trough the body to the buttons on the upper and lower side of the bigsby. A totally mechanical mechanism.
I haven't used them yet though...

Is this the model with the comfort pad?

He actually owned these two concurrently. The first had the earlier screw down mutes. The second that he had, the one that was seen on the Sullivan show and all other appearances until the Tennessean took over had the flip mutes.
