Since it's the "stupid questions time" (well, for me anyway  ), may i ask another couple of stupid ones? Thank you.
1. Is there any way to find out whether there have been new posts added when looking at the board index?
2. How much time will it take me to remember other members' nicknames if i used to remember the names? Okay, i know i should answer this question myself.
3. What does this smiley mean: ?
Oh, and i love that colour panel! Just love it! 8) It used to take sooooo long to add colour codes...

great work guys, i like the look but , and this is probably just me being stupid, how do you tell if there is a new post. on the old board new posts would be highlighted and in the catergory that i wanted to look at.

ok ,i think ive sussed it now, i went into each topic and marked all posts as read, they then went black and now when new posts come up they are red again, if that makes sense.

Paul: That makes perfect sense and is the way to go. It also answers Sheena's question at the same time.

How does one do this other than clicking on every thread?

By clicking on "Mark forums read" on the index page.
