Ohh, I said David Gilmour,the man known for playing pretty much nothing but a Strat. Well I don't mean David, I meant Guy Pratt. He used what looks like a 4001V63 for the Syd Barrett songs, such as Arnold Layne and Dominoes. This sighting is great for me, because just about all my bass heros have used a Rickenbacker at some time in their careers.

v63 in this video, but i've also seen him in more recent videos with a c64.

I agree, Peter. That is one of my favourite DVDs. The singers are great, the cello is brilliant and the bass player is cool personified. If I remember correctly Big Dave actually fluffs a chord in "Wish You Were Here"!
