Dear Colonel Cathcart,
It seems the number of posts required to make it to the rank of "Senior Member", has changed with the new forum.

Exactly how many missions are we required to fly?

Bails: Senior member status was bumped up to 3000 with the move to the new forum. This is, of course, an arbitrary ranking but it was felt that having all the ranks assigned to only 100 posts was too narrow.

But standby Mark, we are not going to forget our RickResource veterans. Quality, loyalty and longevity are recognized here.

Veteran forum members are now in a special group.

As i understand, veterans are those who joined before 2002. So i have no chance either - at 29, it isn't so cool to be a veteran. On the other hand, even being a senior member, i sometimes feel too old.

Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now....

These days, anything that doesn't lump me into the senior category is just fine by me. As far as I can tell, the brain matures nicely, but it's container and transport system is a whole different story. And remember, it's what you say, not how often you say it that counts. Now where's my magnifying glass so that I can proof-read this before I post it?

Very nicely put, Todd. Don't forget too Todd that you can change the font size by using the drop down funtion (Normal) above the window where you are typing your post.

I like my new Veteran RRF member status.

You can also change the text size by using the " A " icon above the logout link in the right-almost top part of the window.

Laugh now, you young whipper-snappers. Your time is coming and it comes a lot faster than you think it will. The good news is that if you stick with it, the older you get the better musician you become.

I've been wearing bifocals for over ten years now. Plus separate reading glasses for the computer. Not only that, I started wearing glasses when I was only four years old!

I started wearing glasses at the age of six, and i dropped them off at the age of ten. Some doctors found it hard to believe i had a hyperopia at that age. Now, if only glasses — or hyperopia, for that matter — helped seeing deeper into things and reading other people's minds, maybe i would have never dropped them.
A good thing about being young, though, is that one can get rid of this disadvantage as time goes by.
