Last night went to watch Rush play at the MEN Areana, with fellow forum member &friend Pete Greenwood and it was a very good show.
He used his Rickenbacker bass on one song which was Passage to Bangkok, the bass sounded good and i could'nt tell if it was his old bass, but it was nice to see him playing a Rickenbacker bass again.I just wish that he used it for more than one song.

Hello Jim,watching Geddy with his Ric was really nice.My favorite Rush DVD is still Exit Stage Left, which he used his Rickenbacker throughout. The concert last night was excellent,i'm glad i went now if Yes tour next year i'll be a very happy man.

I was a bit let down with the sound when the Rick was out during their show here in Houston. Geddy has the "Geddy Special" all tubed up through the DI to get a twangy sound and they apparently did not run the Rick through the same pathway. I imagine if they did it would have fried the PA in most of the venues...

Just an excellent show overall!

It's his old bass. I've looked at the pics carefully and it has the badass and the big old tuners on it.
