I just had to do it, didn't seem democratic at all here.

Agreed.

The bunting is very "old time" all over Fenway, and the Old Lady looks fantastic.

Rock on, Sox.

Huge Sox fan here! Great game last night, and hopefully they'll keep pounding the Rockies until they have that trophy again!

I'm pulling for them, Bob! Not necessarily a Red Sox fan but I respect the way they've played. Actually I was impressed with the Rockies too, up until this series. As usual, Bob, there are Yankee fans everywhere who support anyone who play against the Sox, thus, not much support here. 2 to 1 right now in the second game. If Schilling wins tonight then it's all over. You have Beckett for at least another win. As it stands, I say its over in 5 games.

Well two down and two to go. Good game tonight. Joey, you're forgiven, it's in your blood. I would be a Yankee's fan if I were from the Bronx too. One thing I can't understand is how can you be a Yankee fan if you're not from NY?

Schill did a good job last night. I want to see if Matsuzaka can hold together.

I know nothing about him (Matsuzaka). Can he handle the pressure of the Rockies crowd?

I don't know Mike, he hasn't lived up to the 20 million they gave him yet. I feel bad for him, doesn't speak English and is not used to our customs. He's been having a hard time, lost more than he won the past few months. He started out ok then kind of fizzled.

I can think of a place where I'd like the Red Sox to go.

It has been tough for Matsuzaka. But, the Sox didn't really expect miracles out of him this year-they got him for next year. Plus, Okajima was a nice add-on to the deal. The changes in culture (and indeed, the game itself) is something that anyone would need some time to adjust for.

I won't hold it against you, fratello. I certainly don't doubt your allegiance to the Yankees, but let's get serious. The passion of the Sox is something I'm sure you can appreciate. I really have nothing against the Yankees per se, I just think that Steinbrenner has embarassed them beyond repair. Joe Torre has done *nothing* to deserve the treatment he has been handed.

Torre's a standup guy who's been jerked around by Steinbrenner. No, I'm not a Yankees fan(Angels fan here), but I like Joe Torre. Torre and Angels manager Scioscia have a friendship off the field. When the Yankees in town Torre and Scioscia have come by to the Italian bakery cafe near my house for canolis-seriously!
