I just had to do it, didn't seem democratic at all here.

Schill did a good job last night. I want to see if Matsuzaka can hold together.mgauction wrote:I'm pulling for them, Bob! Not necessarily a Red Sox fan but I respect the way they've played. Actually I was impressed with the Rockies too, up until this series. As usual, Bob, there are Yankee fans everywhere who support anyone who play against the Sox, thus, not much support here. 2 to 1 right now in the second game. If Schilling wins tonight then it's all over. You have Beckett for at least another win. As it stands, I say its over in 5 games.
I don't know Mike, he hasn't lived up to the 20 million they gave him yet. I feel bad for him, doesn't speak English and is not used to our customs. He's been having a hard time, lost more than he won the past few months. He started out ok then kind of fizzled.mgauction wrote:I know nothing about him (Matsuzaka). Can he handle the pressure of the Rockies crowd?
It has been tough for Matsuzaka. But, the Sox didn't really expect miracles out of him this year-they got him for next year. Plus, Okajima was a nice add-on to the deal. The changes in culture (and indeed, the game itself) is something that anyone would need some time to adjust for.rictified wrote:I don't know Mike, he hasn't lived up to the 20 million they gave him yet. I won't hold it against you, fratello. I certainly don't doubt your allegiance to the Yankees, but let's get serious. The passion of the Sox is something I'm sure you can appreciate. I really have nothing against the Yankees per se, I just think that Steinbrenner has embarassed them beyond repair. Joe Torre has done *nothing* to deserve the treatment he has been handed.rickenbrother wrote:...and I'm one of them!!
