It has the Fish Out Of Water cover motif on it. *Hmmm...*

Good to see you again Henny! What's up with the Fender icon on a Rick-lovers website?! You tryin' to stir the pot?

I think the bass you're asking about was made to sell for charity about 6 months ago.

Rock on!

Welcome back Henny!
You can read about that bass on the RIC website:
http://www.rickenbacker.com/news_auctio ... ews=recent

Someone remind me to join a Fender forum just so I can make a Rickenbacker there avatar for myself. :P

Interestingly it was a C series with a standard headstock. Where can I place my order?

Funny how those "not any good" Fenders are fetching some pretty high prices these days!

Henny...

Good to see you back here, but careful with the avatar!

The 64 Fender quote is correct Kev...You know that that one year is the difference between a great bass and mass produced firewood!

Just kiddin'....Loving my Jazz!

Tch, those current day fenders are excellent workhorses and the eighties made ones are killer buys which you can snap up cheap.

The proof: I bought a 1986 Fender USA Stratocaster for 150 Euro and it's a dependable honest-to-God no nonsense guitar

Anyway to get back on topic: that's a cool looking bass. I guess from all those Rick playing prog rock bassplayers Squire is the only one who stuck with them. Rutherford and Geddy Lee having jumped ship.
