You'll see the odd Rickenbacker in old blues bands. What a great band he had.

That's pretty interesting, actually. I was just wondering about Ricks and blues and how they would go together. Now I know! Anyone know of any Ricks used for lead on blues songs? I know I saw a picture of SRV playing one once, but I think that's about it, other than John Fogerty and John Kay, if they count as blues at all.

Darren Trott played some mean SRV blues on my 381/6 at the So Cal Rick Confluence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7Y5NfEBGW0

Ray Wylie Hubbard and the Lost Gonzo Band. It was an excellent version of "Up Against the Wall, Redneck Mothers". The bass player has an MG 4005WB.
