I caught it about 10 minutes into it. I enjoyed it, even as hard as it is to watch Pete smash the Ric's

It covers 40 years of The Who and worth the watch if you catch it.
It was on MTV and called, Amazing Journey, The Who

We often do, Frank, but you've got to scan the program guide pretty carefully. Often they are on SBS last at night or on Foxtel Ovation channel. I don't recall seeing the Who one but there was a really good one not long ago with Pete Townshend talking about how he got some of the interesting effects he's used over the years. As I recall there was quite a bit of stage footage as well.

I saw the new one on VH1, I think. It was awesome. I didn't know that much about the Who before.

I set my DVR to record it and was able to watch the first half of it last night. It was on VH1 Classic. Lots of great early footage. The most I've ever seen of John playing his 4001S/RM1999. The 4001S footage was from '64 during the brief time that the band was called the High Rollers. Saw a little bit of John's 4005 as well right as I was about to leave.

You guys might want to pick up the deluxe version being offered by BEST BUY. It contains a third disc which features a live performance from Chicago in 1979 which would be the date they played after the Cincinnati show tragedy (12/3/79). I believe the list on it is $24.99. BEST BUY is the only place offering the bonus third disc.

Yeah, I think it was on VH1 Classic. I just heard about it today at work. I'm downloading it right now because I missed it, but I definitely intend on purchasing it as soon as it becomes available.

Didn't see that but saw an infomercial for Time-Life's "Flower Power" compilation and Entwistle's 4005 popped up.
