Does anyone know if John,Ben, Kenny and all the other RIC people made the cyber-jump to the new forum?

Kenny has, Scott. He posted in the 'steels' section a bit over a week ago. Haven't seen JH or Ben around....

Well, we've been through all this before. RIC's hyper-restrictive TRC policy has created this situation.

To create fake TRCs and sell them is a clear copyright violation and should not be allowed.

However RIC seems to have this weird attitude that their customers dont really own the guitars.... that it's sort of a permanent use-license or something like that. When I buy a Rickenbacker guitar I buy the whole thing TRC included. If I feel like using for firewood I will. If I feel like taking taking the guitar apart and selling it off for parts then I'll do it .... TRC included. If RIC wants to have a little legal hissy fit, then thats their problem. I really dont care.

This guy's TRC sale is ok by me..... as long as it's not a fake.

I don't believe the RIC cares if you sell your legit TRC. I buy legit ones all of the time and sell from time to time.

Interesting take on the RIC style tailpiece.

Maybe when RIC sues them, RIC can take all that MOP Shine has. The MOP looks pretty nice in some of those pics.

Where is Shine anyway? Germany?

Shine must be short for Shinola!

You'd think just about every company that builds guitars knows of RIC's policy re: fakers.
