It’s not my event, nor is it that big of a deal, but I thought that since some of the forum people will be here, I should post about it.

I am pairing up a fund raiser event (for a charity that my wife volunteers for), and a Mini Confluence.

I wish that I could have invited everyone to come, but I only had 10 spaces that Lisa could give me. For the potential forum member guests, we had a list of 60 people that we were going to ask to help support the charity. If we ever met face to face, you were on the list.

We thought of the 60 people, maybe ten could make the time to join us. We were very touched and surprised that of the first group of twelve people that we asked, we had only a few declines.

So please forgive me both my old and new friends if you did not get an invite, as I wish that you all could be here.

Stayed tuned for the five day event.

To all who are coming from the four corners of the country and overseas, please have a safe journey.

Howard, as I said before, any Aussie Forum member is welcomed anytime, not just for this.

It's OK Dave..... I couldn't possibly have come over anyway. I have Brian and Penny Medway coming to stay with me for 3 weeks commencing November 24th and my boss is already crapping himself because of my absence!

I hope it goes really well for Lisa and you and all concerned have a great time!

Tammy: When we get upset we sulk for a bit, have another drink and get over it. Much the same as when we're really happy.... smile for a bit, have another drink and look forward to the next time....

Actually Aitch with the time change etc we leave Canada late in the evening on the 24th and arrive on your sunny shores on the 26th. When we come back on the 15th we arrive the same day. It seems strange but that's how it works out.

Er..... you're right, Brian. Monday the 26th it is. However, looking at your Australian internal bookings you're booked on a flight from Sydney to Melbourne on the 24th!
