I ordered a brand new Ric 330 and it was quite good imo except for some buzzing which im gonna fix with a 1/4 inch allan wrench soon but
my friend wanted to examine it and play it and show it to his guitar teacher so i let him when he came back he basically said
"the action is ridiculous past the 12th fret. it would be low on the lower strings anyway. you can't tap for **** on high action guitars. . your guitar is really like slow at playing i didn't get why. slow, thick neck and the truss rods are apparently right next to the back making it uncomfortable. the fretboard is really big, the pickguard is like a bad piece of plastic, the pickups are held in by foam, which decays and gets bad. apparently the reason why the beatles played rickenbackers was because there were like 3 guitar companies - ric, fender, gibson. fender and gibson were expensive so they got them for like dirt cheap. the two truss rods idea apparently ended up being a mistake, the acoustics sound like trashy, the tuners are ****, the neck part is high over the body. you have to go with me to guitar stores like sam ash i'll show you what they're supposed to feel like. i apologize if you feel screwed over or something but i'll help you with that guitar search. he couldn't believe they sold those guitars for over 1000 he said the only reason at first he didn't tell me to get you to return it was he thought it was like 200 and it would cost shipping money to send it back. apparently fender bought out rickenbacker a while back and made it into what it is, they did the same with other guitar companies. for over 1000 dollars you could pretty much get most top of the line guitars. you could get any standard gibson, you could actually get a paul reed smith for around 1800 something. paul reed smith guitars are his favorite guitars. i got my dean for like 500 bucks and to be honest it plays so much better than your rickenbacker. get online we'll talk about it."
i think i should just lie and say i returned it when i really still have it lol
